For the fourth consecutive year, AMOSCA show commitment to the Oracle EPM & BI community by sponsoring the OUG EPM and Hyperion Conference 2012.

The event took place at the Park Plaza Riverbank in London, on the 23rd-24th October 2012, and was attended by over 300 delegates.

The AMOSCA-sponsored social evening involved a series of virtual horse races, which saw the competitive spirit come out in all and proved a great success.

AMOSCA delivered three of the agenda presentations, all of which were well-attended and shared knowledge and experience in a variety of subject matter:

  • Hyperion 101: A presentation by Noel Gorvett explaining the strategic overview of Oracle EPM, the products that define the EPM and BI suite and the business process.
  • The Burden of XBRL Reporting: A talk by Michael Grieger outlining the reporting options that companies are faced with now that regulators such as Companies House, FSA, EBA, Danish Business Authority, COREP and others mandate XBRL, and the complexities that lie within. This is a process addressed by Report Authority.
  • Hyperion Upgrade Tips and Gotchas: A workshop by Steve Knowles explaining the complexities of an upgrade, areas to focus on and the preparation required to assure success.
