EBA launches consultation on updated CRD IV COREP / FINREP taxonomy

On Friday 21st March the EBA made the market aware of its consultation on revisions to its COREP FINREP Taxonomy for Supervisory reporting. This consultation will be closing on 14 April 2014, just days before the first filings under COREP are due.

As well as adding reporting requirements for asset encumbrance, non-performing exposures and forbearance, the taxonomy makes changes to 17 FINREP tables and 6 COREP tables.

The EBA taxonomy release can be found here together with revised data point models and consultation papers.

The Report Authority team at AMOSCA has already begun assessing the extensive number of proposed changes in this new taxonomy release. It is also assessing reaction of local National Supervisory Authorities in the different European countries where its clients are required to file.

Report Authority, the market’s leading XBRL Reporting solution was the first to successfully
